Mei Wine is the creation of Martin Meinen, a trained viticulturist, sensory educator, and experience designer who believes that flavour is one of the most powerful ways to connect people to place.
Martin’s journey in wine began in the vineyards of Australia and the UK, where he spent years working hands-on with vines, wines, and everything in between. With a background in viticulture and extensive experience in both production and wine education, he’s developed a gift for making flavour approachable and stories memorable.
Now based in Sussex, Martin founded Mei Wine to share not just wine—but the local spirit of craft, culture, and community. He guides guests through curated experiences that are rooted in storytelling, hospitality, and the freedom to explore beyond the expected.
